Albert Camus était un écrivain et philosophe français, né le 7 novembre 1913 à Mondovi, en Algérie, et décédé dans un accident de voiture le 4 janvier 1960 à Villeblevin, en France. Connue pour son style d'écriture introspectif et son engagement humaniste, sa vie et son œuvre ont laissé une empreinte indélébile sur la littérature et la pensée du XXe siècle. Camus est né dans une famille modeste d'origine alsacienne et espagnole. Son père, Lucien Camus, était ouvrier agricole et sa mère, Catherine Sintès, était une mère au foyer. En raison de la pauvreté et des difficultés économiques de sa famille, Camus a grandi dans des conditions modestes mais a été soutenu par l'amour et l'attention de ses parents. Doué pour les études, Camus a été boursier du gouvernement français et a pu poursuivre ses études secondaires à Alger, la capitale de l'Algérie française. Après avoir obtenu son baccalauréat en 1932, il a étudié la philosophie à l'université d'Alger. Parallèlement à ses études, Camus était actif dans le théâtre et le journalisme, et a rapidement développé une passion pour l'écriture. Son premier roman, "L'Étranger", publié en 1942, est devenu un classique de la littérature française. L'histoire d'un homme indifférent et détaché de la société qui se trouve confronté à l'absurdité de la vie, "L'Étranger" a introduit les thèmes clés de l'existentialisme et de la révolte qui ont marqué l'œuvre de Camus. Camus a également joué un rôle actif dans la résistance française pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. En tant que membre du groupe de résistance Combat, il a participé à la rédaction de nombreux articles et pamphlets contre l'occupation allemande. Après la guerre, il a été rédacteur en chef d'un journal de gauche, "Combat", où il a continué à exprimer ses idées politiques et philosophiques. En 1957, Camus a reçu le prix Nobel de littérature pour l'ensemble de son œuvre, et est devenu l'un des écrivains les plus influents de son époque. Cependant, sa carrière a été interrompue tragiquement lorsqu'il a été tué dans un accident de voiture en 1960, à l'âge de 46 ans. Albert Camus laisse derrière lui un héritage littéraire et philosophique immense, caractérisé par sa réflexion sur les thèmes de l'absurdité de la condition humaine, de la révolte contre l'injustice et de la quête de sens. Son travail continue d'influencer les générations d'écrivains et de penseurs à ce jour, et son engagement envers la justice et la liberté reste une source d'inspiration pour de nombreuses personnes.
