Claude Berge, mathématicien de renom, est né le 5 octobre 1926 à Paris, en France. Après avoir obtenu son doctorat, Berge a poursuivi une brillante carrière universitaire. Il a enseigné à l'Université de Montpellier, puis à l'Université Paris-Sud, où il a finalement été nommé professeur émérite. Tout au long de sa carrière, il a contribué de manière significative à l'avancement des mathématiques, en particulier dans le domaine des graphes et de l'optimisation combinatoire.
