Claude Gensac, de son vrai nom Claude Jeanine Bansard, est une célébrité du cinéma français née le 1er mars 1927 à Acy-en-Multien, dans l'Oise. Issue d'une famille modeste, elle se passionne pour le théâtre dès son plus jeune âge. Après des études au Conservatoire national d'art dramatique, elle débute sa carrière au théâtre avant de faire ses premiers pas au cinéma au début des années 1950. Sa rencontre avec le réalisateur Jean-Pierre Mocky en 1959 marque un tournant dans sa carrière, lui offrant des rôles de premier plan dans des films d'humour satirique.
