Claude Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon, également connu sous le nom de Crébillon fils, est un écrivain français du XVIIIe siècle né le 14 février 1707 à Paris. Fils de l'écrivain Claude-Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon, il a grandi dans un milieu littéraire et a hérité de la passion pour l'écriture. Il a étudié le droit à l'Université d'Orléans, mais a rapidement abandonné ses études pour se consacrer à sa passion.
