Delphine de Vigan est une écrivaine française née le 1er mars 1966 à Boulogne-Billancourt, en banlieue parisienne. Elle grandit dans une famille aisée, mère au foyer et père avocat d'affaires, avec ses deux frères. Très tôt, elle développe une passion pour l'écriture et la lecture, et rêve de devenir écrivaine. Après des études de droit et de lettres à la Sorbonne, Delphine de Vigan intègre l'ESSEC et obtient un MBA. Elle travaille ensuite pendant dix ans dans le marketing, dans le secteur du cosmétique. Mais sa passion pour l'écriture finit par prendre le dessus, et elle décide de se consacrer pleinement à sa vocation. Son premier roman, "Jours sans faim", publié en 2001, est le récit poignant d'une jeune femme anorexique. Ce livre autobiographique, qui évoque son propre combat contre la maladie, rencontre un grand succès et remporte plusieurs prix littéraires. Delphine de Vigan offre ainsi une plongée sans concession dans l'univers difficile des troubles alimentaires. Elle enchaîne ensuite avec "Les Jolis Garçons" (2005), "No et moi" (2007) et "Les Heures souterraines" (2009), qui confirment son talent d'écrivaine et sa capacité à évoquer avec sensibilité les problématiques contemporaines. "No et moi", qui raconte l'histoire d'une adolescente surdouée qui se lie d'amitié avec une jeune SDF, remporte le prix des Libraires en 2008. Delphine de Vigan alterne ensuite entre fictions et récits autobiographiques. Son roman "Rien ne s'oppose à la nuit" (2011) est un hommage poignant à sa mère, dépeignant la descente aux enfers de cette dernière, atteinte de troubles bipolaires. Ce livre, véritable succès critique et public, remporte le prix du roman Fnac en 2011. En 2015, elle publie "D'après une histoire vraie", un roman qui brouille les frontières entre fiction et réalité et qui aborde la difficulté d'écrire et la notion d'identité. Ce livre est également très bien accueilli par la critique et se voit attribuer le prix Renaudot et le prix Goncourt des lycéens. Delphine de Vigan est aujourd'hui considérée comme l'une des voix majeures de la littérature contemporaine en France. Ses romans, souvent inspirés de sa propre expérience, interrogent avec justesse les thèmes de l'identité, de la mémoire et des relations familiales. Sa plume, à la fois sensible et incisive, lui permet de toucher un large public et de conquérir de nombreux lecteurs.
