Julian later transitioned to working in television, where he became well-known for his work on the Hanna-Barbera animated series The Flintstones, providing the voice of Barney Rubble. He also worked on other popular shows such as The Jetsons and The Smurfs. In addition to his voice acting roles, Julian worked as a storyboard artist and layout artist on various projects. He passed away on September 5, 1995 in California, leaving behind a legacy of iconic characters and contributions to the animation industry.
